Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Location: Telford (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager for a large-scale manufacturing business based in Telford.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and will oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of product-based projects within the assigned budget, timeline, and scope.
Engineering Project Manager Skills / Background -
- Prince2 Practitioner
- Background in cradle to grave project management within a manufacturing setting
- Experience managing multiple projects at any one time
- Ability to establish and manage relationships with key business stakeholders
- Be able to work with clients and build relationships
- Experience in identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Knowledge of project governance and reporting frameworks
Engineering Project Manager Role Responsibilities -
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising colleagues from R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
- Manage multiple product initiatives and oversee the entire project lifecycles
- Control and monitor project finances to ensure efficient delivery, adhering to the business value case
- Drive project profitability and deliver results in line with company targets
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and manage change holistically
- In some instances, work in a client facing capacity, building and maintaining these relationships
- Assemble the project team, assign responsibilities, identify required resources, and develop schedules for timely project completion
