Job Title: Senior IT and Projects Manager
Position: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum plus company bonus up to 20% (circa £38,000)
Hours: Between 08:30am – 5.30pm (8-hour shift) - 5 days over 6 on a flexible rota basis
Location: Head Office at Stapeley, Nantwich Cheshire CW5 7JW

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior IT and Projects Manager to join our team.
Purpose of Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the directors and the senior management team. Managing a team of four under their management, the Senior IT and Projects Manager will be responsible for all aspects if IT across the chain, as well as managing the progress of existing and new projects within the business. A recent systems upgrade saw the implementation of a new till system in stores, linked to SAP business one as the main ERP system, linked to SAP FSM for managing engineering staff and Go2Stream for our delivery planning. The Senior IT and Projects Manager has been integral to this project and with a number of franchise businesses still to migrate, this will form a major part of the day-to-day role in the short term. With the roll-out scheduled to be completed by late 2023 there will be an ongoing program to evaluate and improved the internal systems and the successful candidate will be a key driving force in this.
The role will also involve regular contact with internal stakeholders including directors and the Board, and 3rd party providers to maintain the current IT systems and infrastructure and, as importantly, help to develop these along side the growth of the business.
Main Responsibilities: -
· Oversee the support and ongoing development of the IT systems
· Manage existing new and new projects in collaboration the internal and external parties as required
· Manage the operation of the IT and Projects department
· Provide guidance, support and training to help develop members of the IT team (currently 4)
· Liaise with Head Office staff to understand, advise and resolve IT issues
· Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party providers to obtain external support and to implement additional services as required
· To oversee the selection and procurement of the correct specification hardware and software to meet the business needs and to ensure that this properly implemented
· Take overall responsibility for day-to-day IT security including the maintenance of an accurate asset register, dealing with malware and responding to potential breaches in a rapid fashion to limit the impact across the business.
· Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
· Oversee departmental performance to ensure that Service Level Agreements are achieved.
Be involved in ad-hoc projects where you will be required to work as part of a cross departmental team and use your IT experience to ensure that technical aspects are covered as required
The ideal candidate will be experienced within an IT environment and management of staff. Excellent communications skills are essential and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to liaise with staff across the business to understand their requirements and convert this into a workable solution. Experience of SAP B1 would be advantageous as would some knowledge of writing SQL queries which are an important element of the SAP system. Whilst this is a management role the successful candidate w must be willing to ‘roll their sleeves up’ as and when required.
