Main Responsibilities

A Lounge Multi Skill Operative will be working front of house - hosting, cleaning and kitchen porter depending on the business need.

Purpose of the Job:

  • To ensure that Service Standards and Procedures are always followed.
  • To ensure all counters are set up to the Company’s high standard and agreed specification.
  • To ensure that a ready supply of all service items is always available, liaising with Chefs and back of house staff to ensure a smooth, efficient service to our customers.
  • To always ensure correct Portion Control.
  • To ensure tables are cleaned and always cleared.

Main responsibilities

  • Set the bars, ensure the condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are displayed according to specification.
  • Ensure the coffee machine is ready to use.
  • Water the plants and update the newspaper and magazine displays.
  • Load service counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period.
  • To Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of all designated areas, bathroom and kitchen facilities.
  • To ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – this is to include weekly and period tasks.
  • To interact directly and discretely with the Airline’s premium passengers in a professional and appropriate manner.

Kitchen Help

  • Operate the dishwasher machine. Put all crockery, cutlery, trays and other kitchen items through the dishwasher and put all clean items away.
  • Thoroughly clean the machine at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Kitchen by sweeping and mopping the floors, wiping counters etc.
  • Empty waste bins and rubbish and move to collection point.
  • Wipe clean and replace bin liners.
  • Report any incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities to your Line Supervisor or Manager.

  • Handle coffee machine cleaning process after the lounge closes.
  • Wipe all tables, cupboards, desks and other furniture free from finger/food/ beverage stains.
  • Vacuum the carpets to remove all obvious soil, dirt and crumbs.
  • Sweep and mop the tiled areas.

  • SHIFT PATTERN VARY, EARLY SHIFT 07:00-14:30, LATE SHIFT 14:00-21:30
