Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, and Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and South Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. The UK service department with headquarters in Warrington is responsible for the service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in the UK/IR. The department has an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are the key to our triumph. Responsibilities

As a Technical Planner, you will be responsible for technical tasks related to the operation and maintenance of turbines in the UK/IR. You will play an important role in providing a service and product that meets our customers' expectations. In addition, it will be an expectation that you work proactively on tasks take the lead on several tasks and involve relevant stakeholders.

The primary tasks will be:

  • Ensuring an optimal turbine performance
  • Ownership of Technical planning for new and existing sites - stakeholder management
  • Daily communication with technicians, planners, technical and customer group
  • Handling CIM cases
  • Partnership with support features across the organization
  • Being responsible for accurate technical documentation related to work instructions from our internal systems to the technicians and other departments

Qualifications

  • Technical educational background within a similar field from University or Vocational school.
  • Experience with technical planning, ideally obtained in a technical-related or similar
  • Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases/planning tools
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in coordinating small development projects
  • Experience with SAP will be beneficial
