Job description
Manufacture wiring harnesses for Aircraft, using a variety of cables from Single unscreened cable, twisted pair screened cable, Coax Cable, Ether net cable and others. Using cable crimps, soldered contacts, splices and solder sleeves. Also using a Cable Laser Printing Ident Machine.
Assembly of mechanical parts using adhesives and epoxy compounds. Mounting of relays and terminal blocks onto sheet metal brackets, wire locking and torque loading.
Carry out Tool Calibration in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Inspection of completed electrical harnesses including continuity, insulation, and resistance checks.
Inspection of Mechanical parts measuring all dimensions of the parts including vernier gauges and height gauges, Rad gauges.

Salary: £11,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
