Job Purpose
As one of our Technical Officers/Engineers you will support Team Leaders in the day-to-day delivery of a range of services in the areas of Traffic, Transportation and Road Safety across both East Ayrshire and South Ayrshire Council areas. The role will involve a primary focus on the preparation and promotion of Traffic Regulation Orders on behalf of both Councils, whilst also requiring the successful candidate to participate in the fulfilment of various statutory responsibilities relating to public roads, road safety, active travel, and public transport improvements.

Additional Information
This is a permanent full time position, 35 hours per week. The admin base for this post will be The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
Normal office hours are as follows;
Monday - Thursday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Friday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
Annual Salary £36,873 - £40,167
The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
