You role:

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be at the heart of designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge AI enterprise solutions built on both existing and newly emerging Microsoft cloud technologies. Embracing agile and waterfall project delivery models, you’ll take the lead developer role. Your strong technical background in .NET, combined with analytical proficiency, will enable you to engage with customer stakeholders on multiple projects effectively. While prior experience in AI solutions is fantastic, we welcome candidates with a genuine interest and enthusiasm to contribute to this transformative field.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Architects, Developers and other Technical Specialists across multiple projects as a Technical Lead Developer
  • Work closely with Project Managers to plan commercial and logistical activities for each project
  • Provide technical advice and support during pre-sales activities
  • Contribute to the analysis and design of innovative solutions
  • Research and evaluate existing and emerging Microsoft services and tools, always seeking improvements
  • Create low-level technical designs based on functional requirements
  • Create and manage project backlogs, source control and code reviews
  • Engineer innovative solutions, tackling unforeseen constraints and challenges head-on
  • Create prototypes and demonstrations, actively participating in customer stakeholder project cadences, training, and co-development
  • Design, execute, and document unit tests to ensure quality
  • Manage software releases efficiently
  • Offer basic support and debugging in development, UAT and production environments
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications

Ideal candidate:

  • Confidence and adaptability in customer interactions and diverse business domains
  • A self-starter with a passion for embracing new technologies
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-project environment, taking on different agile roles as needed (UX Designer, Scrum Master and QA Engineer)
  • Proficiency with OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • A strong ability to maximise code-reuse, maintainability and a product mindset
  • Enterprise-grade development experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, REST/Web API, OAuth, Azure services (AAD, SQL, Storage, App Service, Functions)
  • Web development expertise with ASP.NET/ MVC/MVVM, client side (HTML5/CSS3/JS), and experience with React would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Graph API, and Teams
  • Experience with GIT/TFS, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of BDD, TDD and DDD approaches

It would be great if you had knowledge of the following:

  • MS Bot Framework V3 and V4 and Cognitive Services
  • OpenAI Chat GPT API’s
  • Python
  • Microservice architecture
  • Machine learning technologies
  • Power Platform (Virtual Assistant, Automate, Apps)
  • Telephony integration (MS ACS, Teams, AudioCodes, etc.)
