Job description
Get a round in….
We’re Whistle Punks and we’re all about people.
If you haven’t heard of us, that’s ok, I mean it’s a shame, but we won’t hold it against you.
We brought urban axe throwing to the UK back in 2016 and, ever since, people have been telling us we’re on the cutting edge of the hugely popular competitive socialising scene. We are here for the people, all of them, our team, our customers, our Punks, these are what makes our experience so amazing.
And you could join the fun. We are investing in our growth and are looking for a Bartender to support our recently promoted Bar Manager. As a Whistle Punks Bartender, you have the best interests of the customer at heart. It is your duty to make sure that everyone who comes to the bar gets what they need, even if that means pacing themselves or sobering up.
The role will help ensure we run a first-class customer service in our drinks and hospitality offering, focused on customer experience, and making sure our drinks and bar experiences matches our amazing axe throwing!
We’ve grown from 5 to a team of almost 100, with venues in Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester and with more in the pipeline, this is a great time to join our team. We’re bigger, older and wiser now but some things haven’t changed. We’ve always paid the Real Living Wage. We’re always looking to innovate and find ways to do things better and we are always committed to developing and elevating our people, our purpose, and our place of work.
We’re working hard to achieve B Corp accreditation as well as becoming a carbon negative company in the next 12 months.
Our mission is to provide an unforgettable experience to anyone setting foot in our venues.
Our success is a direct result of the fantastic team already in place.
We’re about treating people well and doing business for good. Sound like something you’re into? We’d love to hear from you.
