The focus of the role is the design, development and maintenance of effective Data Quality and Data Flow controls for Financial Crime.

Leads as a strong contributor to the analytical capability of the Financial Crime Data controls team, works closely with all parts of Financial Crime and the business domains to ensure the required outcomes are achieved efficiently and effectively.

  • Supporting delivery of complete and accurate data to Financial Crime strategic detection engines through the development of data controls to identify data quality and data flow issues.
  • Working effectively to build, automate, monitor, and triage control results, and escalate issues appropriately. Possesses drive and perseverance to ensure that issues are addressed in accordance with their severity.
  • Ensuring all controls are fully automated, documented and operated correctly.
  • Utilising good technical skill with business knowledge to help the team turn business information to technical output.
  • Contributing analytical support to financial crime priorities.

What you’ll bring.

  • Proven experience of using SAS or SQL is essential
  • Prior experience in a Data Analysts role with a track record of developing high quality analysis that has resulted in customer centric decisions that achieve business objectives

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive) would be beneficial.
  • Experience on AWS Cloud Services and Python/Spark is useful
  • Experience of liaising with business stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Experience of working within Financial Crime

What else you need to know.

We will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to travel to the Milton Keynes office as and when required (2-3 days per week)

This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months.
