HGV Class 1 Drivers required for Coleford Gloucestershire
Driving curtain side, double decker, or box trailer vehicle in a safe manner, Delivering Caged or palletised goods to RDC’s or stores, ensuring that the loads are secured correctly and that the goods are delivered on time, offloaded in the correct manner, paperwork is signed, and any agreed waste or cages is collected to be returned.

- 4 on 4 off Nights
- 42.46 hours per week contract
- Start times available between 16:00 – 19:00

How will you contribute?
- Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products.
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
- Attend essential training to carry out the Driver role.
What will you bring?
- Must have valid Class 1 licence
- Must have valid CPC
- Must have a valid Digital tachograph card
- Must not have more than 6 points on licence
- Must have minimum 12 months experience
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
- Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
- Must have a good geographical knowledge
