Job description
The starting salary for this role is £43,923 per annum, based on working 36-hours per week.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven IT professional to join our Digital Programme as a Technical Business Analyst, working closely with the IT&D Digital Consultants to carry out the analysis of key processes in the context of applications systems and data technologies to produce designs and specifications for product delivery.
This role would be working on the Digital Programme in collaboration with our Data Programme to develop an approach to tackle data issues caused by disparate systems and data silos. The Digital Programme has a recent history of successfully delivering innovative business solutions using the latest technologies.
About you
Experience of working with business applications and business super users is a must. You will be able to manage business relationships and work effectively with super users. Being able to translate requirements from business language into technical context/terms, and vice versa, is key for this role. You will be confident in gathering requirements and carrying out analysis’ on application user screens, data fields and supplier technical documents. Using Visio or Miro, you will be able to map information process flows, as well as using your Excel skills to analyse data sets.
You will map data from source to destination including transformation rules, as well as being able to create designs and specifications for suppliers and contractors to deliver a product.
It would be advantageous, but not essential, for the successful candidate to have:
- A knowledge of SQL and Web Service APIs.
- An interest and enthusiasm for Digital Transformation and Applications and Data Architecture.
