About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Business Analyst who is looking for a new challenge and is passionate about making a difference in a business transformation environment. You will own and manage analysis activities in discovery, shaping, mobilisation, delivery and transition into supported business as usual for technical changes.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new high-profile programme to help shape, plan and deliver a new core banking savings & mortgage platform for the society. You'll be joining the team at the early stages of the programme helping to influence our future state.
Our core banking systems are at the heart of what we do. Working within this large complex programme you will analyse our current ‘as-is' core architecture and ‘to-be' future state whilst leading guided technical requirements walkthrough sessions with Architecture, Platform Teams, Technical SMEs and Test Managers. You will also support Quality Engineering / Test Managers on Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
What will you bring to the role?
- You are an experienced Business Analyst and have worked throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., from requirements gathering through testing to business readiness and Implementation). Your experience will have included working on technical software or IT infrastructure delivery projects.
- Experience gained in a similar technology change/transformation/integration programme highly desirable.
- You have gained experience of working across several business functions and adept at understanding business concepts.
- Ideally, you would have worked on large complex projects across multiple teams/functions.
- Financial/banking sector experience desirable but not essential.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- BCS qualification desirable but not essential.
