Join GSK’s Tech Data & Analytics Graduate Apprentice Programme – UK, 2023: Help us get ahead of disease together


GSK Level 7 Apprenticeships are full-time, early starter jobs that offer graduates the opportunity to begin their career while studying towards their post graduate qualification. This postgraduate qualification is fully funded by GSK so you can avoid debt.


Education required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar


Language requirement:
Written and spoken fluency in English

Salary: A starting salary of £34,300 per year

Duration: 2 years


Preferred requirements:

  • Have an understanding of data management, data architecture, ML / AI and cloud management principals (preferably Azure Cloud)
  • Be curious to learn new technology, processes and ways of working
  • Have the ability to work and communicate with different stakeholders at market / region and global level

Other requirements:

  • If offered a position the candidate must be willing to enrol and meet entry requirements as stipulated for the MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist (Data Analytics) at Queen Mary University of London
  • Must be able to commute twice a week to the GSK offices in and around the London area

Tech Data Analysts at GSK Commercial Tech organisation support the development and implementation of data products that will help the acceleration of data driven customer experience.

Our Tech Data & Analytics apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge to develop your skills in then data arena, working with the Business Insights team on the ground, as well as the Global Data & Analytics team to provide market insights.


This entry-level, development opportunity offers you the chance to study towards a nationally recognised, post-graduate qualification while making a strong start to your career. Our apprentices attend college part-time studying theory elements of the apprenticeship while working at a GSK main office.


A Tech Data Analyst apprentice will be studying towards an MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist (Data Analyst) at Aston University. Over the 24 months on the Programme, you will spend most of your week working on the projects for the delivery of data products focusing on omnichannel marketing.


What will you do?

  • Working with market BI and regional/ global Data & Analytics product owners for the implementation of data products to Europe region.
  • Working closely with UK BI Team to identify the discrepancy between local and global data products and support them for the standardization.
  • Building your Pharma ways of working/ process knowledge, business sense and customer relationship skills
