Title: Tearooms and kitchen Assistant
Reports to: Tearooms Manager,
Hours: Approx 30- 35 hours per week
Job Purpose:
- To inform Catering Manager of any materials, supplies and ingredients based on demand, needed to be ordered
- Overseeing of the cleanliness of the tearooms, setting the tearooms up ready for customers
- To use the coffee machine, serve cakes to customers
- To work with Catering Manager to design and implement new menus depending on seasons, produce and comments.
- Supervise kitchen employees and organise food orders
- Oversee the food preparation and cooking process
- Monitory stock levels and perform weekly stock level assessments and inform kitchen Manager of any concerns
- Store all food products in compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene Act and COSHH with guidance from the Catering Manager
- Ensure the kitchen and front of house areas are clean and organised
- Liaise with General Manager, Catering Manager.
To be successful in this role you will need to be an strong communicator you should also demonstrate strong organisational skills.

- Ensure the Tearoom is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and organised

Experience and knowledge:
- Experience of working in a kitchen/ Tearooms,
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to work well in under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
