Principal Site Reliability Engineer - Hybrid working
Salary up to £115k + Benefits + Bonus
London and South Coast offices
A Principal Engineer / Tech Lead is required to join a high performing engineering department. The Principal Engineer is a pivot role in the business taking responsibility as the technical lead in the SRE team and to drive the direction of the technical roadmap, being able to make decisions and take ownership of the technical direction of the team.
The Principal Engineer will utilising modern technology to help create and deliver this suite of products, liaising with various team, senior internal stakeholders and Product teams in delivering a modern solution.
Responsibilities include:
- Influence technical architecture and direction for an Enterprise Software product.
- Work closely with the Senior Product Manager in shaping the tech direction and architecture.
- Lead by example and assist other developers with relevant tech challenges.
- Add value across the tech stack which includes: C#, .NetCore, JavaScript, AWS/GCP, Salesforce ad Elastic Search.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager in leading the Agile project team.
Key experience
- Passion for using modern technology to create effective solutions to deliver outstanding applications.
- Strong background in cloud technologies (ideally GCP) and Iac such as Terraform
- Experience in technical decision making and software architecture, Event Driven or Microservices.
- Experience delivering Enterprise level, multi-platform, products
- Excellent communicator, experienced with interfacing with Senior Management
