Job Description

Client Care Advisor – Perth Vets4Pets

Due to a valued member of our reception team leaving, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Client Care Advisor (CCA) to join our team at Perth Vets4Pets on a part time or full time permanent basis.

We have a wonderful, friendly, longstanding team at Vets4Pets Perth and warmly welcome any new members to our veterinary family. As a team, we all support each other, and endeavour to create a happy, constructive and supportive working environment focusing on the importance of a good work life balance and mental health support. The team are all passionate, dedicated veterinary professionals who pride themselves on offering high standards of care while identifying areas to further improve. Currently, we are working towards becoming an RCVS accredited, ISFM cat friendly and RWAF rabbit friendly practice.
Our team consists of two vets with over thirty four years’ experience between them.. You will also be supported by an experienced Head RVN/JVP/Clinical Coach, one FT RVN, one PT Veterinary Care Assistant, two Client Care Advisors and a supportive Practice Manager. We are also currently recruiting for another FT Vet to join our team. In addition, we have a great relationship with our Area Regional Manager (ARM) who is always on hand for extra support and advice.
Following a fire in 2019, we re-built our new practice in March 2021 and are based on St Catherine’s Retail Park in the centre of Perth. Perth is a lovely city, surrounded by fantastic scenery and steeped in rich history, with easy access to buses, train stations and motorway. Located half an hour from Dundee, just over an hour from Edinburgh and little over two hours from the Cairngorms, means it is the perfect location for exploring Scotland on your days off. Our great location also means we benefit from a good variety of cases, including some interesting exotics (including Meerkats & Coatimundi’s) and a wonderful loyal client base.

We are lucky to be working in a Joint Venture Partner (JVP) run practice, built to modern industry leading standards which is well equipped with all the essentials including a brand-new Multi-parameter, Digital X-ray, Blood analysers, Ultrasound, Drip pump, designated theatre and separate cat, dog and isolation wards.
We are happy to discuss both full and part time hours and can be flexible to make your rota work around your commitments. Full time hours include a four day week (8:30am to 7pm) with a half an hour for lunch (one hour booked out on the diary to protect that lunch time) plus 1 in 3 weekends (9am to 5pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays). This equates to approximately 40 hours per week, but with the possibility of over time. There are no OOH, with Vets Now Dundee, covering all our OOH emergencies.
