Job Title: Veterinary Client Care/Reception Associate
Salary: £26,775 FTE
Location: DWR near Newmarket
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 2PM-10PM
Your role and responsibilities
You will join a team of enthusiastic individuals in the delivery of outstanding service to our valued clients and assist in looking after their accounts. The role will be divided between our brand new spacious reception and the Client Care Team’s office. You will be diligent, organised and professional with the ability to maintain a harmonious working relationship with others. You will be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm but informative manner and be able to follow processes with attention to detail.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting clients and their pets upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner
- Communication directly with our vets, physiotherapists and nurses regarding their appointments, clients and patients
- Explanation to our clients of the status of their accounts, taking payments and issuing invoices
- Arrangement of routine and emergency appointments from our referring vets in primary care practice
- Fielding of phone and electronic enquiries from clients, referring vets and colleagues
- Close collaboration with our Client Management Team regarding client accounts
- Maintenance of patient clinical records using our practice management software system
