Job description
Lagardère Travel Retail have just opened a YO! Sushi at Luton Airport, and we are currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic people to join the team.
Outstanding service is the heart of our business, and our aim is for customers to be served by a friendly team, who offer an exceptional dining experience to every customer. You will be involved in all aspects of our busy store, from preparing food to delivering first class customer service in both the restaurant and grab-and-go area.
Previous experience in a catering enviroment is preferred but not essential as full YO! training will be provided.
A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge. This will be discussed in more detail at interview stage or please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
Key responsibilities:
100% Customer Focus
- Ensuring all customers receive excellent customer service every-time
- End to end customer service including till operations
Preparation
- Preparing delicious YO! products
- Ensuring the store is fully replenished
- Goods receiving duties
- Stocktaking and inventory compliance
- Merchandising and pricing
Housekeeping/Health & Safety
- Keeping the unit well presented at all times
- Ensure the safe usage of all the cleaning materials
- Ensuring store and stock rooms are kept tidy in line with H&S
- Reporting any potential hazards on the shop floor or stock room to the manager/supervisors
Security
- Ensuring security of stock
- Awareness of potential security risks out with store and part of the greater airport community

Hours available for shifts: 37.5 hours, full-time, full flexible
- Morning: 3:00am-1:00pm
- Middle:10:00am-6:00pm
- Close: 2:00pm-10:30pm or when the last flight departs
