Are you a Formulation Chemist looking for a new full-time role?

Due to continued growth, PelGar International Ltd is now recruiting for a Junior Formulation Chemist to work at their Telford Site.

Junior Formulation Chemist - About the role:

Cover all aspects of developing pesticide formulations, laboratory batches, stability testing, manufacturing trials.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical complexities of new ideas and innovations to determine success factor;

• Manage regular and ad hoc projects within the R&D scope;

• Progress projects with autonomy, safely and efficiently;

• Liaise with third parties and suppliers;

• Preparing for and conducting pre-production trials;

• Work independently on own initiative and/or collaboratively with cross functional teams.

• As a technical resource, support other areas especially Quality, Manufacturing and Production.

• Comply with companies current and future health and safety requirements

Junior Formulation Chemist - Candidates Skills and experience:

• Degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry

• 1 year in formulation chemistry, an advantage

• Has some experience / knowledge with HPLC (essential)

• Some knowledge of emulsion chemistry (essential)

• Some experience working with Microsoft Excel (nice to have)

• Comfortable handling numbers and percentages (essential)

• Attention to detail

• Good Teamwork

• Organised
