Job description
You will work in a flexible, hybrid manner so its essential that you are based near eihter site and can commute to site for 2 days a week.
- Leverage existing data to accurately describe, optimize and forecast the organizations performance enabling data driven decisions that will improve business outcomes.
- Use contemporary tools such as Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, and SAP to develop the necessary Production Planning datasets, tools, and metrics.
- Take part in multiple global and organization-wide projects which enhance capabilities, increase effectiveness, flexibility and productivity enabling the transformation to a data driven globally connected manufacturing function.
- Bridge communication between the business stakeholders and IT, ensuring change is understood, implemented, and adopted.
- Ensure there is cross-functional alignment and collaboration with enterprise-wide business units.
- Provide functional and technical support including training of system functionality to end-users.
- Be flexible with daily tasks, sometimes wearing multiple hats.
- Degree qualified in a relevant Business, Scientific or Engineering discipline, Apprentice trained or equivalent experience.
- Significant data modelling, development and systems experience including Power BI, Power Platform, Python, Azure Synapse, SAP Hana, APO and SAP BA.
- Logical and enterprise minded with the ability to use data to elucidate information and insight.
- Analytically minded and data-driven with the ability to explore the existing data to help guide the process.
- Effective communication skills are required, with the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Significant experience within the manufacturing sector required. Medical device or complex assembly & test experience preferred
