Dispensary Assistant
Hours: Minimum 32 per week incl Saturdays
We are a busy forward looking community pharmacy and looking for a full-time dispensary assistant who has completed at least the Medicines Counter Assistants (MCA) and Dispensing Assistants (DA) Training Courses OR equivalent Pharmacy Healthcare Assistants (HCA) Training Course. Uplift/refresher training can be offered for the right candidate.
We are open 0900-1300 Monday to Saturday and 1300-1830 Monday to Friday (early closing Wednesday at 1730). You will be expected to work to a rotating shift pattern of full days which will include Saturday cover.
You will be confident, hardworking, with good communication, computer, and customer service skills, and willing to multi-task in a busy pharmacy. Duties include dispensing, maintaining a working dispensary and record keeping, assisting in the retail unit when required and supporting colleagues in training towards their own dispensary qualifications.
Remuneration is competitive based on Qualifications and experience.
