E Park and Sons Limited are a leading packer and wholesaler of fresh potatoes to many blue chip retail customers and food processors.

In order to support significant business growth with a key customer, the Night Shift Despatch Team Member will be involved in establishing a new Night Shift that will run alongside and compliment the current production Day Shift.

Job Overview:

Night Shifts: Monday to Thursday Night Shift – 6pm to 6am

Full Time Permanent

Pay Rates: Night Shift Rate £12.00 per hour

Current counter balance FLT licence holder: Night Shift Rate £13.46 per hour

Primary duties & responsibilities:

To assist with the smooth and efficient running of the night shift manufacturing processes and the despatch of customer order, Night Shift Despatch Team Members will be trained to ensure that they are able perform various duties within the business including:

Picking, assembling, wrapping and loading orders for delivery to customers

Picking and restacking where necessary

Unloading, stacking and storing incoming goods from vehicles

Accurate and timely completion of paperwork for recording and tracking purposes

Daily vehicle check and timely reporting of defects

Accurate labelling of various products

Ensure that the day to day hygiene and housekeeping standards are met

Integrate and communicate with all other departments within the business (within the Night Shift and Day Shift functions),

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment – ideally in Food or FMCG would be preferred.

In date counter balance licence would be advantageous

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

To adhere to safe working practices and clean as you go policy

Compliance with legal Health and Safety standards and BRC standards.

Initial training to take place on the Day Shift (6am to 6pm) before moving on to the Night Shift.
