We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Quality Assurance service!

As a Team Manager you will be a central member of our team, helping us to understand our practice and the impact we have on our children and families.

To do this, you will manage our Quality Assurance and audit functions; ensuring that we continuously reflect and learn about our services and support. You will have a key role in ensuring our front-line managers are supported to understand and participate in our Audit programme.

You will put in place a clear audit programme structure, moderation processes and feedback mechanisms to ensure that priority actions are completed; and that we take our learning into our workforce development. You will collate our audit findings and be able to provide a robust written analysis which you will report on to SMT and other decision-making forum in the organisation.

This role will work closely with the Head of Quality Assurance as your line manager, though the nature of the role means you will work across all service areas and will provide professional challenge to drive quality and services for children, supporting our vision to ensure children and young people in Slough are Safe, Secure and Successful.

If you’re looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an exciting journey to turn children’s services around in Slough then come and join us. In return, we can offer you:

  • Training and development opportunities
  • Agile working supported by technology
  • Flexible working policies
  • Friendly working environment and great colleagues.

Slough is one of the most diverse places in the country outside of London and a great place to live or work. In fact it's the best place to live or work according to a survey by Glassdoor. Pleasant environments, above average salaries and a lower cost of living, mean an increased quality of life for employees. We're also one of the most accessible places to be, nestled on the corner of the M25, M4 and M40, and less than 20 minutes by train to Central London.

Slough Children First works within the statutory guidance, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018. Further information on how we adhere to this can be found on our website and in each candidate information pack.
