JOB TITLE: Team Leader
REPORTING LINE: Director
LOCATIONS: Ibrox Stadium
CONTRACT: Permanent, Full Time
THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Rangers Youth Development Company as a Team Leader.
Originally established as the Rangers Development Fund (RDF) in 1964 with the sole purpose of providing funds for the Club, the organisation – which has raised over £120 million to date – is now formally known as the Rangers Youth Development Company (RYDC). RYDC is passionate about supporting the Club’s Youth programme with profit from all products being donated straight to the Rangers Youth programme since 2002.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the RYDC office, ensuring all administration tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. You will work across a wide range of RYDC products including Rangers Lotto, Stadium Bricks, Halftime Draw, Scratch cards, Competitions and Raffles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Line management responsibility for 3 administrators.
- Delegating daily tasks to various team members.
- Ensure assigned work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Complete the weekly banking process in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy.
- Review and process all incoming mail.
- Produce weekly reports as required by the RYDC Director.
- Maintain the annual leave spreadsheet for the team.
- Create the staff rota on a weekly basis.
- Support with the recruitment and selection process as required.
- Ensure the banking spreadsheet is kept up to date and is accurate.
- Deliver training to new and existing team members.
- Assist the RYDC Director with other duties/tasks as required.
THE CANDIDATE
The candidate attributes include:
- Previous team leader/supervisor experience is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- High level attention to detail.
- Experience and ability of working to deadlines.
- Ability to delegate and manage your time effectively.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
