Our school is looking to appoint an excellent, highly motivated and professional practitioner who has a real understanding and passion for supporting young children’s learning. The role will require you to work with all of the children in our Reception class, but particularly those with Special Educational Needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- can effectively support the teacher to achieve and maintain high standards of care and education;
- has a good understanding of how to motivate children to engage in their learning;
- has a range of strategies to promote excellent behaviour;
- is determined to identify what helps a child learn, overcoming barriers along the way;
- is skilled in delivering an individual learning/communication approach
- has excellent communication skills;
- is creative and have a willingness to offer new ideas;
- is calm, supportive, approachable to children, parents and staff;
- is committed to working as a member of a team, and contributing to whole school development and the wider life of the school
Hillside is a small and popular village primary school located in Bradwell and set on large grounds. We are a welcoming and friendly school to work in, with wonderful children who are keen to learn; supportive governors and families; a committed and hardworking staff team.
