We are currently recruiting multiple Teaching Assistants to join our highly regarded Primary School in Watford. The position as a teaching assistant offers a supportive school environment where you can gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on students' lives. There is also potential for fully funded teacher training in the academic year 2023/2024.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide support in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes.
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans and supporting students with diverse abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in any discipline, with strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
- Previous experience working with children, whether paid or voluntary, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to support a diverse range of pupils.
