Kingfisher School is a unique, friendly, and successful school in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. We are a special school providing high quality education for children and young adults aged 2-19 years who have severe, profound, and complex needs including autism.
The school is part of The Propeller Academy Trust, an ambitious and growing Trust which currently has three SEN schools in total: Fitzwaryn and Kingfisher, both with Primary through to Post-16 provision, and Bishopswood with Primary and Secondary provision co-located across two sites. The Trust spans five local authorities.
Due to career progression, we are looking for passionate, proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistants who are dedicated to improving the learning opportunities for children and young people.
The Teaching Assistant role is term time only, 30 hours a week, 8.40-15.10, Monday-Friday (part time hours will be considered), with opportunities to earn overtime by supporting our children and young people at our after school club and holiday club provisions.
