Full Time Permanent Teaching Assistant - To support Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 at Ashley High School

Ashley is a successful secondary school for pupils with social communication difficulties and autistic spectrum condition age 11 - 19. The school offers excellent accommodation and specialist teaching areas. We are committed to high standards of achievement, both personal and academic.

Ashley High School are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with experience of Autism/social communication and SEMH. The successful candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships and adapt to the needs of the pupils.

You will be responsible for supporting pupils with phonics and reading in addition to general class based support. The ideal candidate will successfully strive for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to give feedback and encourage our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

Required for 1st September 2023 or as soon after as possible.
