Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant & Learning Support Assistant Coordinator
Salary: £27,311.69 to £29,060.96 (actual £24,094.37- £25,637.57)
Location: All sites
Hours: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks term time only
Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant Coordinator to join the Foundation Studies team based at Gloucestershire College.
The ways in which a student is supported in the learning environment can have a profound and lasting impact on their personal development, aspirations and progress into adulthood. It is important for teaching assistants and learning support assistants to provide personalised support for our students and to contribute and feedback on progress made.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Head, to ensure teaching assistants and learning support assistants have a meaningful and robust recruitment process and induction into the Foundation Studies department, as well as on-going support, training and appraisals making them the forefront of in class and wrap around support for students with moderate and severe learning difficulties.
