Tencent Games CROS (Common R&D and Operation System) aims to build a global R&D and operation platform with the vision of becoming a leader in digital entertainment technology. As the technology center of Tencent Games, CROS empowers our clients with advanced technology, develops cutting-edge game technology, and strives to create sustainable value by applying game technology in areas such as culture, high-tech industries and scientific research.

This is an exciting opportunity and you will be part of the GCloud Global Solution Architect Team. You will have the opportunity to design and implement outstanding SaaS products and conduct localization development for Tencent Games and its partner studios based on numerous cutting-edge technologies, such as SDKs, game engine, AI, DCC, database, backend solutions, etc. Also, you will cooperate with many first-tier game studios.

  • Drive the architecture, system features, and monetization design of Games as a Service (GaaS) to meet the needs of global video game studios using Tencent Games CROS proprietary technology;
  • Lead the design of game-related technical products, including game voice, game AI, game engines, crossplay, DCC, etc.;
  • Collaborate with Tencent's internal teams to drive product development and implementation;
  • Work closely with Tencent and partner studios to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions;
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on game development market trends and technology, conduct game technology market research, and assist in formulating the global R&D technology development plan.
Requirements:
  • Familiar with product design for game platforms and/or game development pipelines, and a strong interest in engaging with the game industry;
  • Strong learning agility, communication skills, and a keen sense of service mind-set;
  • Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, or related fields, with over 3 years of experience in the video game industry;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in any of the following fields: game design, game platform design, game system architecture, art production pipeline, artificial intelligence, large-scale database, or other related fields;
  • Experience as a game platform product manager or solution architect;
  • Experience in technical development or project management for large-scale AAA games.
