Teaching Assistant
Start date: September 2023
Hours: 32 hours a week, term time only
Pay: Scale points 1-6
Temporary – one year initially
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our school family. We require a skilled, caring individual
to support our pupils. The role will involve working as part of a supportive and friendly team to deliver outstanding pastoral
care and high academic challenge.
In return, we can offer a friendly and supportive staff, engaging pupils, supportive parents and tailored programme of
CPD.
The post is for 32 hours a week, 8:30am-3:30pm. The year group is yet to be confirmed. Experience of supporting
pupils with specific difficulties and effectively using intervention programmes would be beneficial. The contract would be
temporary for one year and will be reviewed at the end of the academic year. Pay is dependant upon experience and
qualifications.
