Job description
PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH AND SCHOOL
Middle School Teacher
Introduction
Prince of Peace is a grace-based, purpose-oriented ministry. As people redeemed by Jesus Christ, we seek to live in the joy of God’s gifts as we work to be what God calls and enables us to be as a Christian fellowship. We understand God’s direction for the church to have five components:
- To grow in knowledge of God and his character, gifts, and will for our lives.
- To be God’s ambassadors to our community, carrying the message and love of God given us in Jesus Christ.
- To care and encourage each other in faith and life.
- To be a servant to those in need, God’s tangible love to a world in hurt.
- To worship and be a voice of praise as God continues to give us his gifts in Word and sacraments.
While the rest of our ministry is organized around these five purposes, our school ministry is established to help these five purposes be accomplished through our elementary and junior high school educational program.
