Animal Care Teacher
Job type- Part-time, Permanent
Salary – Up to £27,
Hours – Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Location- Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Who we are looking for?
The purpose of the role is to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the vocational Animal Care Qualification from level 1 to 2. As well as support the delivery of the wider curriculum to students on employability skills, CV writing, Interview skills, job applications etc.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To plan and deliver Animal Care sessions to a small group of students according to their individual learning needs and requirements.
- To embed communication, word and number into Animal Care sessions with students.
- To be a part of ongoing assessment of students learning needs and to make reasonable adjustments as required minimising barriers to learning and achievement.
- The post holder will be expected to deliver high quality practical skills, teaching and training to students within the agreed Awarding Body standards.
- To be responsible for delivering teaching and training with a therapeutic and supportive approach.
