The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Film Teacher to join our Secondary School team. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and motivate students to develop their art background and skills.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Film Teacher to join our Secondary School team. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and motivate students to develop their art background and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Film to Secondary School students of all abilities.
- Develop lesson plans and deliver engaging and creative lessons that support students to develop their understanding of Film.
- Support students with SEN and develop differentiated strategies to ensure that all students can access the curriculum.
- Provide feedback and assessment to students to help them to progress.
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and activities.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Film or related field.
- Teaching qualification (QTS) is essential.
- Recent graduate in the related field would be perfect!
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
This is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be joining a supportive and collaborative team committed to providing the best possible education for our students.
