Are you a qualified primary school teacher? Are you available for work from September 2023

Empowering Learning are working with a school in the Littleover area (DE23) area who are looking to appoint a year 3 teacher for the start of the new academic year in September 2023. The school is a two form entry school and has recently had an OFSTED grade of 'Good'

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has previous teaching experience within KS2
• Is willing to contribute towards end of year report writing
• Can deliver engaging sessions and inspire children
• Has excellent classroom control
• Possesses strong behaviour management skills
• Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum

The main duties within the role are:

• Planning and delivering engaging sessions to a year 5 class
• Working cohesively with the other class teacher in the phase
• Delegating a classroom TA to work with targeted children
• Differentiating sessions to meet a range of needs in the class
• Liaising with the school SENCO around progress of pupils with SEN

Salary: £24,500.00-£35,000.00 per year

• Derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
