The Role
An opportunity is available for an Senior Manager EMEA. The main purpose of the role is to manage and control all relevant tax projects for our various legal entities in the region.Your Responsibilities
- Understand the business dynamics, commercial and regional group strategy to be able to communicate effectively and become a valued business partner
- Interact with Country Executive Management and Heads of operational departments (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Sales) to provide proactive commercial tax guidance in driving tax efficient, effective and compliant business solutions
- Responsible for ADM tax affairs in various jurisdiction, including interface with competent authorities
- Manage tax authority engagements, audits and controversies in EMEA, including voluntary disclosures, appeals, EU arbitration and competent authority claims
- Manage tax projects in EMEA from design to implementation
- Advise the businesses on high value activities (e.g. major contracts, IP, M&A, ERP roll-outs, and corporate restructuring)
- Support Quarterly US GAAP reporting
- Manage portfolio of external advisors to ensure quality of deliverables and within budget
- Design, Develop and deliver appropriate tax training to the business to address risks and improve the overall awareness and capabilities in the business
- Travel within the EMEA region

Your Profile
- University degree in Law, Business or Economics with further qualifications in Taxation or equivalent background with a solid accounting and legal skill set
- 7 + years of strong tax experience in a public accounting firm, international business law firm or a multinational enterprise managing tax affairs
- Extensive knowledge of international taxes, ideally with supply chain experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced work environment
- A dynamic and energetic self-starter and a quick learner to make an immediate business contribution
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships externally and internally
- Competent tax professional with strong grasp of international taxes, transfer pricing, and supply chain dynamics
- Capability to work under pressure with little supervision to support business priorities
- Capability to act and react quickly in a fast paced environment to meet rigid deadlines
- A resourceful person who makes things happen by rolling his/her sleeves up and becoming involved
- Good business acumen, ability to interpret financial data and make well informed sound business decisions
- High degree of integrity, always prepared to do the right thing
