Job Summary:
Reporting to: VP of Day-to-Day Management / HR Coordinator
Department: Artist Management / Office Administration
Location of work: London N1 (nearest tube Old Street)
An exciting opportunity to join the Artist Management team at TaP Music on a 6-month paid internship
With a passion for music and ear to the ground, the ideal candidate will be dynamic, personable and ready to jump in the deep end of a busy music company. Also working across A&R, Publishing, Creative and Digital, you will provide efficient and effective support to the wider team, with a proactive and positive approach towards any general administrative tasks that may come up day-to-day as well.
Main Purpose of Role
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate TaP recording studio booking diary and arrange studio access for clients
- Collate client updates on behalf of the Management team for TaP's newsletter
- Update TaP's client roster release schedule and circulate to wider team
- Attend photo/video shoots to provide assistance to Managers and TaP clients
- Seek out and share knowledge of emerging artists or potential new clients
- Maintain internal Creative database with up-to-date contacts and credentials
- Take minutes during internal/external meetings with music industry contacts
- Assist with setting up office A/V equipment ahead of meetings and calls
- Monitor TaP website inbox and handle all enquiries efficiently
- Help with scheduling calls and meetings; send Zoom links and calendar invites as required
- Front of house support; greet guests on arrival, prepare meeting rooms and offer refreshments
- Provide general administrative support to wider team and clients
- Manage booking system for office meeting rooms
- Organise and redistribute inbound office post
- Ensure office supplies are restocked regularly
Person Specification
- Passionate about music with the desire to progress in the industry
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written and personal communication skills essential to this role
- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms and up-to-speed on latest social media trends
- Conscientious; responds positively to instruction and demonstrates commitment to the company
- Flexible approach to work; anticipates what needs to be done and adapts to meet multiple deadlines
- Undertakes routine tasks as well as the more varied aspects of the role with an enthusiastic attitude
- Good IT skills; confident using MS Office, Apple products, Box and Dropbox
- Photoshop / video editing skills beneficial thought not essential
