Duties and Responsibilities included:Skills and Experience on Ala carte menuPreparing, cooking and presenting, curries/Tandoor items to the appropriate standards. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.·Planning and Implementing of new menus, input in preparing the menus, to develop new dishes and to present the dishes with imaginary presentations skills .Preparing Dishes from fresh Products, seasonal products, Nutrition Value. Striving to exceed customer expectations at all times.Candidates must have past experience in Preparing Indian curry sauces & Tandoori dishes.·Involves cleaning duties and maintaining food safety records as per legal requirements· Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by Head Chef· training and supervising junior Chefs,· stock control, quality checks, health & hygiene compliance and HACCP protocols, monitoring food safety & temperatures,·good order of equipment and work areas, cost analysis and review,· preparing reports and schedules, and performing key duties as assigned.Experience in a fast-paced professional kitchenAbility to prepare quality tandoori dishes & breadsPassion for Indian cuisine and flavoursUnderstanding of food hygiene proceduresPositive attitude and good communication skillsTo qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -High level creativity and mastery in preparation of authentic regional Indian dishes and other specialtiesProven previous experience at required skill levelIn addition you should also be: -Performance, achievement and results drivenHave an eye for detailAble to work well with othersCreative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellenceA hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individualFAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURENote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
