Pladis now has a strong in-house Talent Acquisition Team, I am now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team to support with all corporate and supply chain roles at pladis.
As well as our day to day recruitment we are also working on a number of projects to improve employer brand, build recruitment process awareness and provide support to our managers on everything recruitment.

What will this role achieve?
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a successful team within pladis. Talent Acquisition is a key focus and with continuous improvements and support we work together to provide the best in class service to our candidates and stakeholders.
This role reports into the Talent Acquisition Manager as a direct report into the HR Leadership Team. We are happy for this role to be based in Liverpool or our Chiswick Park offices 3 days per week with 2 days from home.
What will be your key deliverables?
  • Be responsible for providing world class end to end candidate and stakeholder management recruitment experience experiences - managing all activity, both internal, external and referrals through our hiring processes
  • Partner and manage relationships with key stakeholders, understand the requirements of roles and the pladis culture to ensure good candidate fit.
  • Think creatively and implement a programme to build our employer brand, awareness of pladis and talent attraction methods in the external market.
  • Support the development and implementation of key initiatives and processes to ensure we bring in the best talent into the business with a key focus on Diversity and Inclusion
  • Work with our PSL agencies to deliver specialist talent requirements.
  • Source candidates – post roles internally and externally, utilise job boards, social media and online resources to engage and contact appropriate candidates.
  • Carry out initial applicant screening for roles, including CV sifting, telephone interviews and all candidate communication including feedback.
  • Hold others accountable for fulfilling their steps in the hiring process.
  • Support the production of timely and accurate management information for the organisation to advise decision making on all staffing and management recruitment including new entry programmes.
  • Alongside the Lead Recruiter, be responsible for the delivery of emerging talent recruitment plans and ensure that recruitment assessment centres are delivered on time, in full and within budget.
  • Actively seek opportunities to continuously improve recruitment service provision in pladis and ensure that pladis remains abreast of industry changes and best practice
  • Provide recruitment expertise to specific projects as required i.e. apprentice recruitment, assessment centre development.
What do you need for this role?
  • Demonstrable experience of working in in-house recruitment
  • Experience of Workday system is desirable
  • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
  • Have proven partner management experience and be a strong external ambassador for pladis.
  • Positive attitude and resilience
  • Effective communicator with internal partners, external agencies and candidates
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and partners
  • Proven ability to make it happen and deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines
