Job description
CAE’s Talent Acquisition team is newly established and rapidly expanding to support the growth of the company within the EMEA region. As a team we’ve started to establish the recruitment processes, tools, and structure that will enable CAE to continue to recruit at scale while focussing on best practice and candidate experience. Join our team as we continue to embark on this transformation journey.
Day to day you’ll support UK recruitment within our Civil Aviation business for roles such as Simulator Technicians, Instructors, Maintenance Engineers, Sales, and other support functions. You’ll have the freedom to manage your own business area autonomously, and to develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions. This will also include identifying new technologies, systems, suppliers, and events to help build a sustainable pipeline of talent.
The role we are offering you
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle from vacancy capture to onboarding
- Building comprehensive sourcing and attraction strategies for difficult to fill positions
- Driving the implementation of the new Talent Acquisition strategy and processes
- Flexibility to manage your own workload and processes to enable the best hiring manager support and candidate experience
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities encompassing tools, software, suppliers, and processes
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience across the full recruitment life cycle
- Demonstrable experience of building proactive sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions
- Ideally some experience within the aviation/ aerospace industries
- Excellent stakeholder management ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
Location:
We’re flexible on location and this could be a fully remote role, however it would be beneficial if you could visit Burgess Hill in West Sussex periodically
What kind of person will succeed in this team?
We’re looking for you to be really proactive in your approach. Where you can make the most difference will be around identifying ways to pipeline and talent pool for those hard to fill areas. You’ll have the support of a fairly large and growing team, but the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload and stakeholders is also important. Lastly, an eye for continuous improvement will really help us as a team as we embed our new processes.
