At Oxford Instruments, we enable the world’s leading industrial companies and scientific research communities to image, analyse and manipulate materials down to the atomic and molecular level. Our Materials Analysis group, consisting of the Asylum Research, Magnetic Resonance, NanoAnalysis and WITec business units, combines products and solutions to support a broad range of end markets and application segments for all our customers’ materials analysis needs. The product portfolio within the Material Analysis group will enable our customers to address some of the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges by using our products and services to analyse and characterise materials – chemistry, structure and many physical properties.
Securing the right talent for the NanoAnalysis and Magnetic Resonance businesses is critical to our continued success. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead our recruitment strategy ensuring that we have a pipeline of talent for the long term as well as for our immediate requirements for ongoing growth.
The purpose of the role is to act as a strategic partner. You will ensure that we are continually evolving our sourcing and hiring approach to be as competitive as possible in the talent market. You will partner with business leaders on the hiring process ensuring there is a cultural fit with our People Strategy.
This role would suit an experienced recruitment professional who thrives on working independently and understands the business context.
We recognise the value of onboarding and ongoing career development so there will be also a focus on development in this role.
Some of the key delivery areas:
Be an ambassador for the Oxford Instrument brand and build long term strategic relationship with candidates and potential candidates
Map and share market insights and organisational shifts to ensure you are proactively sourcing different talent options for OI
Ensure that the recruitment strategy and process is designed to attract, recruit and retain candidates that will drive cultural change and support ongoing growth
Recruit technical engineering and scientific roles through proactively advertising, sourcing and collaborating with stakeholders.
Report on key recruitment metrics across the Materials Analysis Group (four OI businesses) in partnership with the HR Director.
Push for an excellent candidate journey by driving the candidate experience and ensuring a well thought out and effective recruitment process.
Advocate for diversity within the recruitment process including internal mobility and career progression

We typically work a 37 hour week with a 12.30pm finish every Friday so you can start your weekend early, plus the option of flexible working.
