ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the organisation’s end-to-end recruitment processes, by supporting the management and overall delivery of effective recruitment and selection services. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will have the autonomy to work closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless recruitment service and provide advice regarding best practice and employment law, presenting practical solutions and options in relation to hiring needs.

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual with a passion for internal recruitment to join our People and Culture team.
You will be confident in your recruitment ability, with knowledge and the ability to articulate yourself well with others with strong communication skills. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is not afraid to bring ideas to the table. A team player but you can also make decisions and negotiate with others in a respectful manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To oversee and manage end to end recruitment administration and screening processes, supporting hiring managers with their recruitment needs
- To ensure consistency throughout the recruitment process across the organisation
- To promote best practice throughout the recruitment process and actively seek candidate feedback to improve the candidate experience
- To proactively support with sourcing candidates directly, through new initiatives and liaising with external events and organisations as well as internally to attract high quality candidates
- Administration and utilisation of internal and external job sites, CV data bases, and social media channels, ability to network
- To consult and engage with hiring managers to recruitment best practice to fully understand their needs and support them with finding suitable candidates.
- Manage the recruitment mailbox ensuring internal and external queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- To be responsible for the maintenance and integrity of applicant information and being the first point of contact for all applicant enquiries
- Strong attention to detail to organise and record all recruitment paperwork, candidate information, interview and assessment questions and ensure they are saved to GDPR and in an organised location
- Work alongside the people and culture team to ensure the onboarding process is completed in a timely manner
- Develop strong working relationships with key departments
- To support with and make recommendations to improve the company’s employer brand
Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.
KEY SKILLS
Essential
- Experience working in recruitment, (in-house is not necessary)
- Experience managing high volume recruitment and working in a fast-paced environment
- Confident in consulting with hiring managers, offering advice and guidance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues and offer guidance and advice
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and follow market trends
- Knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in a Recruitment setting
- IT literate
Desirable
- Experience in headhunting and creating new initiatives to further successful recruitment campaigns
- Experience working in a similar social care sector or hiring for similar roles as our organisation
- Experience demonstrating general knowledge, interpretation, and application of UK Employment legislation
- Experience in manipulating HR and ATS databases
