About the role


We’re currently recruiting for Assessment Associates to write, review and scrutinise external assessments for the following Level 3 qualification:


T Level Technical Qualification in Health which includes:

  • Core exams covering Health Sector
  • Supporting the Adult Nursing Team occupational specialism
  • Supporting the Care of Children and Young People Team occupational specialism
  • Supporting Healthcare occupational specialism
  • Assisting the Mental Health Team occupational specialism
  • Assisting the Midwifery Team occupational specialism
  • Supporting the Therapy Team occupational specialism

Duties and responsibilities


Relevant to your role you will be require to:
  • Produce assessment content (question papers/tasks and mark schemes) that meet NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements.
  • Review assessment content (question papers/tasks and mark schemes) to ensure that it meets NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements.
  • Submit assessment content in the required format, within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure assessment content meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Production Officer.
  • Provide additional assessment content as required, including document/image sources and details of copyright permission, as required.
  • Attend paper review panel days and training sessions, as required (online).
  • Liaise with Chief Examiners, Scrutineers and Assessment Production Officers.


Summary of skills and experience

  • You should have experience of writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials.
  • Examining experience desirable.
  • Experience working within the healthcare sector desirable.
  • You need to have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in health, healthcare or similar
  • You should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You should have excellent attention to detail
  • You should be able to work accurately and consistently, and at times to tight timescales
