Job description

A brilliant opportunity to join a leading healthcare business at their head office in York as a Systems Support Administrator, working Monday to Friday with hybrid and flexible working. Reporting to the Application Support Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as First Line support for the HR and Finance systems, assisting with the development, testing and maintenance of systems to streamline processes and improve user experience.
  • Provide quick and effective issue resolutions, producing and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Design and test system configuration, including workflows, batch jobs and processes.
  • Provide accurate basic reports and data extracts, to assist with the overall Key Performance Indicator information.
  • Maintenance of application access controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Adhere to internal quality standards and statutory compliance including Data Protection.

To be successful in this role of Systems Support Administrator, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a System Administrator role, and experience working with HR and Finance systems.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively organise and prioritise workload.
  • Strong excel skills, including VLookup, Pivot Tables and creating visuals such as graphs and dashboards.
  • An effective communicator at all levels.
  • Experience working with data extracts and analysis and SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of parameters, workflow creation and rules is desirable but not essential to be successful.
