Siemens Mobility in Chippenham develop, manufacture, and deliver cutting edge Train Control and Signalling Systems for the UK Railways. We are presently involved in developing the next generation of computer-based onboard and trackside train control systems for tomorrow’s mainline railways which will bring significant performance advantages, sustainability increases and cost savings for our clients. These complex systems require advanced system engineering techniques to ensure successful and optimal delivery.
The Challenge
Embark on your 3-month placement with us whilst learning from industry experts. Develop your knowledge and experience in System Engineering and build your professional network ready for when you graduate.
The Candidate
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a 2:2 or above in an Engineering or Physics related degree
- You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
