About Youthplomacy
Youthplomacy is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan, youth-led platform that caters to young people interested in global affairs, diplomacy, and gastronomy to connect and collaborate. From international politics to the environment, our objective is to make foreign issues and diplomacy accessible, appealing, and relevant to the general public who have little or no interest in international issues. We also aim to educate and promote multilateralism to youth and students. We believe it is critical to work and collaborate with people from different spectrums, to find common ground and address complex global challenges, Such as the emergence of isolation, polarization, and populism, to issues such as the environment, sustainable development, and maritime issues—all delivered in a casual, educative, and innovative way.
Our objectives are Informing, Educating, Inspiring & Collaborating, and our areas of interest include Diplomacy, Global Affairs & Gastronomy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Arts and Multimedia associate, your assignments will include (but are not limited to) :
- Creating compelling visuals based on briefs.
- Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief and producing design products for posts on various platforms.
- Working with strategic communication team and another related department to produce designs for social media posts.
- Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in accordance with Youthplomacy’s standard.
- Attending bi-weekly team meetings and department meetings to report and provide input
- Making recommendations for improvement where feasible.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- An energetic, innovative, and hardworking individual with a capacity for creativity and innovation.
- Someone who is familiar with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- An eye for detail with good organization and planning skills is very desirable. Moreover, presentation and confidence to pitch your ideas are a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.

- A demonstrated ability to achieve results, work as a team, take the initiative and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Someone with excellent command in English is preferred; the ability to work and communicate in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not mandatory.
