Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer
Salary: £40,000- £48,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Barrow in Furness
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as an Embedded Systems Engineer. This role will be based in Barrow in Furness and will require someone to be on site 4 days per week, working 1 day from home. A relocation package is available with this role.

Main Responsibilities:
- Requirements capturing and analysis
- Designing of electronic hardware
- Integrating software and hardware aspects of the final solution
- Production of evaluation/acceptance testing criteria
- Acceptance testing
- Through-life support (e.g., defect investigations, modifications & upgrades etc.)
- Producing and reviewing of technical documentation and reports
- Relocation package available

About You:
- STEM Degree or equivalent experience (HNC/D + experience)
- Experience in design, qualification, testing of electronic hardware and or working knowledge of hardware/ software integration methods
- Experience with distributed measurements systems preferred, but not essential (can be taught)
You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years
