About the Role
Grade D (£23,809-£25,426 p.a. pro rata)
We are seeking a permanent, full-time Stores Person to join us at SST Stores, Clifton Campus.
You will be a pro-active and customer focussed individual who will accepting, electronically receipting and distributing deliveries as well as stocking up over 800 products available for researchers, PhD students and staff from the School of Science & Technology and wider NTU community.
SST Stores is a physically demanding environment and previous experience of load handling including chemicals is welcome. You will have the ability to achieve multiple responsibilities at once, consistently paying excellent attention to detail and capable of completing routine housekeeping tasks.
The role includes the maintenance of load handling equipment, movement of compressed gas cylinders, assisting with the school lab coat washing service and contributing with university events such as Open Days and Graduation.
Flexible working options including job share will be considered. SST Stores opening times are 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4pm Fri
