Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (8.5hr shifts with 30 minute lunch on a rota; 7.30am-4pm, 8.30am-5pm & 9.30am-6pm)
6 Saturdays per year (8.30am-2pm) paid at time & a half and 2 Bank Holidays per year (8.30am-5pm) excluding Christmas Day & Boxing Day paid at double time with a day in lieu. Home working available post probation.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as the primary day-to-day interface between Veolia and National Account customers - carrying out all aspects of customer service work, enabling Veolia to meet its customer service targets
  • Focusing on customer retention & growth through building strong relationships with all internal and external customers enabling you to meet the customer’s needs
  • Answering and recording all inbound calls and emails - ensuring resolutions are arranged and communicated effectively
  • Taking ownership of customer queries and ensuring they are resolved to the highest standard
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver timely resolutions for our customers
  • Supporting the business in achieving targeted growth, through up-selling and cross-selling Veolia Products and Services
  • Bringing the ‘best of you’ to work every day

What are we looking for?
We welcome applications from candidates who have minimal Customer Service and Administration experience as we believe there is more to a person than a CV. Our must haves:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • An individual who is highly organised and methodical
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure & multi task to prioritise workload
  • Personable, confident & curious - willing to go the extra mile
  • Competent IT skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Office Applications including Sheets and Docs
  • Basic understanding financial of business and customer profitability
  • 5 GCSEs grade C or above (or equivalent) must include Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services would be beneficial
