As Systems Development Manager, you will be part of a team ensuring our data-driven and supporter-centric approach to fundraising, campaigning and engagement is facilitated by maximising the use of our CRM and associated data systems.
Join us and you will lead the team responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting our supporter information systems to meet evolving fundraising and engagement needs. You will oversee our use and development of data warehousing and modern data techniques. You will control budgets, support new product development and make sure the release cycle of system development adheres to data quality and business rules. In addition, you will take responsibility for managing, planning, and rolling out system changes and upgrades. You will also allocate and manage resource to deliver in line with strategic plans and build business cases for additional resource where necessary. You will oversee supplier relationships and conduct periodical reviews to ensure we are achieving maximum value and benefit too.
To play your part in saving the planet, you must have significant experience of successfully delivering a wide range of system development, integration, upgrade, migration, and implementation projects. This will have given you an excellent understanding of relational databases and data management techniques, including experience of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, ETL tools and Azure Data Factory as well as a working knowledge of CRMs, ideally CARE NG or Microsoft Dynamics. You will also have experience of delivering Agile projects that provide good business value to users. Good at managing projects and controlling budgets, you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills too.
Experience of project management/development tools (Jira, DevOps or similar) and agile methodology would be an advantage.
